RPM is dressing the new Junior European cyclocross champion Tom Pidcock
RPM is bursting with European pride. The European Cyclocross Championships were held in Pont-Château, France, over the last weekend of October. In the Junior trials, Britain’s Tom Pidcock pulled off a singular feat, coming in over the finish line all alone at the end of a gruelling, hard fought battle. Frenchman Nicolas Guillemin and Belgian Timo Kielich came in behind him to claim second and third place.
In addition to being the colour bearer for the British national team, the new European champion races for a super young team from Yorkshire called Paul Milnes Cycles, which has chosen to outfit its kids with the quality and design found in RPM sports clothes.
Riding the wave of this success, the company from Montebelluna has customized a racing KIT dedicated to the new European Champion, complete with a long sleeved jersey from the 110 line, the top models in the RPM collection, as well as a cyclocross winter bodysuit and a complete series of accessories, including new socks made with Meryl Skinlife material and a sleeveless undergarment which is perfect to wear in any season; all this will guarantee the young Tom maximum comfort on the seat of his bicycle.
“Having become the new European Champion is a great satisfaction for me, and I hope that this victory can represent an important launching pad as we look forward to the future, starting with the World Championships in this sport scheduled to be held in Luxembourg in the end of January,” said Tom Pidcock. “In France the competition was very hard; when I attacked I knew that I had left behind a small group of ten riders who could have been working together to make up the break so I had to save my strength, and in the last two laps I managed to increase my advantage. As for RPM, this company makes truly high quality products. The clothes fit very well; in fact, they adapt perfectly to the athlete’s shape. RPM products are comfortable, flexible and above all they don’t limit movement during performance, which is a fundamental aspect for us cyclists. I’m really happy that RPM products have been available to me, and I hope that together we will obtain many more prestigious victories.”
