GIULIA CICCHINE’: THE SPORTS JOURNALIST WHO LOVES CYCLING

She’s young and enterprising, with a dream: to make a name for herself in the world of sports journalism. Giulia Cicchinè has become one of the new women’s faces for Europsport, and from their studios in Milan she has covered, among other things, Tom Dumoulin (Team Sunweb) and Vincenzo Nibali (Bahrain-Merida) and their fantastic feats on the pink roads of the last Giro d’Italia.

Giulia’s two great passions are cycling in summer and basketball in winter. She holds a degree in communications and another in design, which have launched her towards what promises to be a brilliant career.

For quite some time now, Giulia has chosen the quality of RPM Cycling for her bike rides.

“I’ve had the chance to test some of the items from the RPM cycling collection, and I was pleasantly surprised right from the start,” explains Giulia. “After I bought my new bike I was looking for a technical clothing brand that was compatible with the way I am. Looking around on social networks I discovered RPM Cycling. I immediately tried to get to know more about this brand. On the company’s website I saw some garments that captured my attention and tickled my fancy. I wanted to try them as soon as possible, so I decided to contact the company owners.”

“The design of the pieces perfectly reflects my tastes: minimal and polished,” continues explaining Giulia. “In fact, in my opinion it is the details that give this brand added value. During the summer I got the chance to try out two short sleeved jerseys from the RPM Cycling collection: the Stripes Jersey and the Flower Jersey. The days were boiling hot yet even with such high temperatures these jerseys provided maximum antiperspirant protection. Furthermore, I was won over by the containing and practical Classic Lady Shorts, which provide more freedom on the saddle. The seat padding felt great. Anyone who rides a bike knows how important this aspect is. Even though it had been several months since my last ride I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort. I can say that I was really happy with the garments I tried. Riding is always tiring but to be able to do it with clothing that is comfortable and at the same time fashionable makes everything much more fun,” concludes Giulia.
